All units are accredited for the Rent Supplement Program operated by the Municipal Housing Office. People with low incomes can receive this assistance which limits their contribution to the rent to 25% of their income.

- Provide 21 furnished rooms (bed, kitchen) in a safe and functional environment;
- Provide tenants with housing conditions likely to improve their security, their independence, residential stability and encourage their integration into society;

- Living alone ;
- To be eligible for rent supplement program;
- Have a low income.

For the immobilization:
- To acquire, renovate and maintain the vocation of an existing rooming house
- Offer people at risk of homelessness a stable long-term solution: 21 units renovated rooms;
- Provide people who have completed their treatment and reinsertion a subsidized and safe housing;
- Offer bathrooms and sanitary facilities on each floor and a laundry room.
Rooming houses have many benefits for customers of the organization. The urban environment, with its residential and commercial mix offers close public transportation and many community and institutional services.
Moreover, preservation of housing units for low-income individuals strengthens social and economic diversity of downtown jeopardized by the gentrification of the neighborhood and speculation for construction of private condominiums. Therefore, the project also prevents the increasing number of single people left homeless.
